About
Kenneth Hedden and his wife Barbara founded Hedden’s Pharmacy in 1953. Originally located in a small building on Sussex Avenue, the pharmacy moved to its current location in 1955. Hedden’s Pharmacy has always been a family-focused business. Over the years, Kenneth’s four children took over the operations of the pharmacy, and some of them still work there today!
In 2021, during the COVID pandemic, as local pharmacies across the country closed their doors, a group of local pharmacists purchased Hedden’s Pharmacy. Committed to serving the community for decades to come, they chose to retain the name Hedden’s Pharmacy to honor the Hedden’s family legacy.
